Production Engineer

Job Title: Production & Dispatch Executive – Furniture Department Location:Nile Smart Technologies Maruti Industrial Estate, Naroda Rd, Memco, D Colony, Ahmedabad, Gujarat 382345 Job Type: Full-Time (On-site) Experience Required: Fresher also welcome, 1–3 years (Preferred: Furniture / Manufacturing / Mechanical background) Job Summary:We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to handle product management, inventory checking, product marking, and dispatch activities in our furniture division. The ideal candidate should have a mechanical or production background, strong understanding of measurement units (cm, mm, inch, ft), and the ability to manage end-to-end product handling with accuracy and responsibility. Key Responsibilities:Check and maintain inventory of furniture and raw materials. Perform marking and labeling on furniture parts as per design and product requirement. Verify product dimensions and specifications using standard measuring tools. Ensure all products are assembled, handled, and stored safely before dispatch. Coordinate and manage product dispatch, packaging, and logistics arrangements. Maintain records and reports related to product status, dispatch, and inventory. Inspect products for quality and accuracy before shipment. Assist in production planning and workflow management. Collaborate with the design and operations team to ensure smooth production and delivery. Required Skills and Qualifications:Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Strong understanding of measurement systems – cm, mm, inch, ft. Knowledge of basic tools, materials, and furniture components. Ability to read and understand product drawings or design instructions. Good organisational and time management skills. Basic knowledge of dispatch and inventory software (Excel / Tally / ERP preferred). Ability to manage workers and coordinate with vendors when required. Physically active and responsible towards handling furniture items. Preferred Qualities:Responsible, punctual, and team-oriented. Problem-solving mindset and practical approach to tasks. Willing to learn and adapt to new product designs and processes. Salary: ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 (Based on experience and skill set)
