Production Engineer

The role focuses on overseeing cutter suction dredger operations and associated dredging activities, ensuring project execution aligns with technical and safety standards. It involves coordination, reporting, and team management to optimize production and maintain equipment.

• Production and Maintenance Oversight:

  Responsible for improving production, monitoring data, maintaining technical drawings and specifications, updating geo-technical data, and ensuring upkeep of dredger and equipment onboard.

• Client and Safety Coordination:

  Liaises with client representatives on-site, ensures QA/HSE compliance, and manages emergency preparedness and drills.

• Project Execution and Reporting:

  Ensures dredging activities follow project plans with understanding of survey charts, and prepares daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.

• Team and Resource Management:

  Mentors junior staff, coordinates with various departments, and manages procurement of dredging-related spares and consumables.

Key Accountabilities

• Responsible for Production improvement, Production Data monitoring, Maintaining technical drawing & Specifications, Keep Geo-Technical data updated, Maintenance & Upkeep of dredger & equipment on-board.
• Coordination with client representative in the field
• Ensure that QA/HSE requirements and procedures are observed on vessel.
• Emergency Preparedness & drills,
• Ensure that dredging activities are executed as per project plan.
• Knowledge of understanding of survey charts.
• Preparation of Daily & Weekly progress reports, Monthly MIS.
• Manage and mentor junior staff and technical personnel.
• Coordinate efficiently and effectively with Technical-, QA/HSE-, Estimation & Operational Advisory departments.
• Request for the purchase of dredging related spares and consumables.
