Job Description

To Lead the Production & Process teams in achieving plant targets related to output, Quality, efficiency, cost and Safety.
Ensure continuous improvement in production processes through innovation, optimization and adherence to best manufacturing practices.
Production Management-Plan, organize and control production activities to achieve daily, monthly and annual targets.
Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, materials and equipment.
Monitor Key performance indicators (KPI) such as yield, efficiency, downtime and cost per unit.
Co-ordinate with planning, maintenance, quality and logistics teams for smooth plant operation.
Process Control & Improvement-Analyze process parameters and identify areas for improvement.
Standardize process parameters and ensure strict adherence to SOPs.
Drive reduction in process losses, energy consumption and raw material wastage.
Quality & Compliance – Ensure product Quality meets internal and customer specifications. Maintain process documentation, audit compliance & ISO Standards.
Co-ordinate with QA/QC to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) – Enforce Safety procedures and ensure Zero incident culture. Conduct risk assessments and safety training programs.
Ensure environmental compliance and sustainable practices.
People management-Lead, mentor and develop the production and process teams.
Plan workforce requirements, training and succession planning.
Promote team work, accountability, and performance driven culture.
Reporting & Co-ordination-Prepare and present production performance reports to management. Supporting Budgeting, cost reduction and productivity enhancement projects.
Collaborate with R&D and technical teams for process development and trials.
To maintain the Cement Kiln running days as per the plan
To monitor the energy consumption levels (Both Electrical & Thermal) and initiate measures to improve the efficiency at various production units
To monitor and maximization of Green fuel utilization
To maintain the levels of various additives and components within the planned limits
To improve the refractory life through efficient techniques
To ensure the cement availability as per the given requirements
To ensure the statutory and legal compliances with relevant requirements
Responsible for ensuring proper staffing and labour for all the operations either directly or through outsourcing
Planning for shutdown with Material Requirement.
Concept on 5s and relating to the operation to control the Fugitive Emission in Plant
Safety Standard Implementation and sustaining with strong concept.
Optimization of Mill Operations.
