Job Summary

Product Trainer

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver product training to healthcare users including doctors, nurses, hospital administrators, operations teams, and support staff.
  • Conduct onboarding, refresher, and advanced training sessions (virtual and on-site) for hospitals, clinics, labs, and partners.
  • Develop and update training materials such as user manuals, SOPs, workflow guides, videos, FAQs, and e-learning modules aligned with clinical workflows.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Clinical, and Compliance teams to stay aligned with product updates and regulatory requirements.
  • Simplify complex healthcare workflows (EHR/EMR, HIS, LIS, billing, scheduling, reports) into easy-to-understand training content.
  • Support product rollouts and feature launches with structured training and enablement plans.
  • Gather feedback from users and internal teams to improve product usability and training effectiveness.
  • Track training completion, adoption metrics, and common user issues; share insights with stakeholders.
  • Ensure adherence to data privacy, security, and healthcare compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, NABH, HL7/FHIR where applicable).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, IT, or a related field.
  • 2–6 years of experience as a Product Trainer, Application Trainer, or Product Enablement professional in HealthTech.
  • Hands-on experience with healthcare software such as EMR/EHR, HIS, LIS, practice management, or digital health platforms.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and terminology.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to train both clinical and non-clinical users effectively.
  • Experience creating structured training content and documentation.

Preferred / Good to Have

  • Experience working with hospitals, clinics, diagnostics, or healthcare startups.
  • Exposure to healthcare regulations and standards (HIPAA, NABH, HL7, FHIR).
  • Experience with LMS platforms, e-learning tools, or video-based training.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite hospital training, if required.
