Product Owner

Role Overview: As a Product Owner at Barclays UK, you will lead the evolution of business data within the business banking product and propositions. Your main responsibilities will include developing, pricing, maintaining, and retiring all business banking products and propositions. You will be tasked with developing the product strategy, driving change through Barclays execution teams, making key decisions in the product lifecycle, and owning associated outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain existing and new products and/or services, including ownership of related customer and colleague journeys - Drive the product strategy and make key decisions in the product lifecycle - Own associated outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank - Ensure regulatory compliance, risk management, and controls are in place - Manage stakeholder relationships both within and outside the bank - Make informed decisions by balancing evaluation and judgment with timely decision-making - Collaborate effectively with others and prioritize the needs of the collective - Proactively identify and manage risk by adhering to the bank's Risk and Control Framework Qualifications Required: - Experience in customer focus, understanding and advocating for customer needs - Knowledge of digital transformation and its impact on the bank - Understanding of the bank's products and services available for clients/customers - Proficiency in stakeholder management and setting clear expectations - Ability to make informed decisions by considering all options and selecting the best path forward - Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with others - Knowledge of governance, risk, and control principles for effective risk management Desirable Skills: - Ability to achieve planned outcomes even in difficult situations - Knowledge of user experience design tools and techniques - Understanding of commercial operations and key business concepts - Knowledge and application of the product design life cycle - Strong analytical thinking skills to gather, process, and analyze information Location: The position is based in Pune, India.,
