• Translating business and technology requirements (the
WHAT) into user stories
• Prioritizing and sequencing the user stories for
consumption by the development team in the team
backlog
• Arbitrating functionality requested and clarifying user
stories
• Accepting (or rejecting) user stories throughout each sprint
(or sprint) as meeting functional needs and acceptable to
the business and/or customer
