Job Description
Role: Product Owner
Experience: 8 years
• Proven experience (5 years) as a Product Manager or Business Analyst in investment banking, specifically in securities settlement and confirmation.
• Strong understanding of trade lifecycle, including trade capture, matching, confirmation,and settlement across asset classes (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Familiarity with industry platforms and standards (e.g., SWIFT, DTCC, Omgeo CTM, Euroclear, Clearstream).
• Experience working with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA, Confluence.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Define and own the product roadmap for securities settlement and confirmation
• platforms.
• Collaborate with operations, technology, compliance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into product features.
• Lead the development and enhancement of post-trade processing systems, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., T 1, CSDR, DTCC, SWIFT).
• Prioritize product backlog and manage sprint planning in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure product compliance and competitiveness.
• Drive automation and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives to improve
• operational efficiency.
• Conduct UAT planning, execution, and sign-off in coordination with QA and business users.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for securities lifecycle events, trade matching, settlement instructions, and reconciliation processes.

Product Owner skillset :
MUST HAVE
1. Security Settlement / clear understanding of trade life cycle/ Clearing and settlement
2. Cash equities/Fixed income/SBL/Prime brokerage – Any of these
3. Good understanding and knowledge of trade lifecycle and specifically more on clearing
and settlement side
4. Knowledge of Agile framework
5. SQL intermediate (example: join tables, give combinations to run query)
6. Strong problem solving skills and logical reasoning.

Experience working in Agile environments with tools like JIRA and Confluence.
Key Responsibilities:

• Lead integration and enhancement efforts across Broadridge modules such as Impact, Gloss, and BR Trade Processing.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements (e.g., T 1, CSDR, SFTR) and industry standards (SWIFT, DTCC, Omgeo).
• Drive automation and straight-through processing (STP) initiatives using Broadridge capabilities.
• Manage product backlog, sprint planning, and delivery in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and UAT coordination.
• Act as SME for Broadridge functionalities including trade matching, settlement instruction generation, and exception management.
