Product Manager Veterinary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Manager Veterinary to lead the development and management of veterinary and nutrition-focused products for our pet food brand. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in animal health, veterinary nutrition, or related fields and a proven ability to drive product innovation in the pet industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development of veterinary-specific pet food and supplements
• Collaborate with R&D, marketing, procurement, and regulatory teams to bring new products to market
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
• Work with veterinarians and nutritionists to develop science-backed formulations
• Ensure compliance with FSSAI, AAFCO, and other regulatory guidelines
• Develop product positioning, packaging briefs, and technical documentation
• Liaise with sales teams and veterinary channels for product education and feedback
• Monitor product performance and manage lifecycle from launch to phase-out
• Support brand credibility through clinical trials, endorsements, and scientific content.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelors or master's in veterinary science, Animal Nutrition, or related field
• 5+ years of product management or technical vet role in pet food or animal health industry
• In-depth understanding of pet nutrition, health trends, and consumer needs
• Excellent project management and cross-functional coordination skills
• Strong communication and analytical skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and documentation (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP preferred)

Preferred:

• Experience working with veterinary clinics or pet specialty retail
• Experience in clinical product lines or prescription diet segment
• Ability to travel for market visits, factory audits, and vet seminars

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
