TE Connectivity's Product Management Teams manage all aspects of a product, from driving new product development to manufacturing to marketing. They are responsible for overall product strategy, business leadership and capacity plans in order to meet sales and profit targets. Develops and sets the strategic vision and direction for the portfolio(s) of products, leveraging deep understanding of technical, market, and customer needs to define the product roadmap, drive innovation and new productdevelopment from concept to launch, and ensure alignment with business unit objectives.
Customer Focus: Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
Communicating Complex Concepts: Knowledge of effective presentation tools and techniques to ensure clear understanding; ability to use summarization and simplification techniques to explain complex technical concepts in simple, clear language appropriate to the audience.
B2B negotiating commercial and business partners: Knowledge and experience with contract and business negotiations
Create excitement for the future: Knowledge of the importance of encouraging the team's motivation to achieve objectives and ability to promote an organization's characteristics in ways that enhance others' commitment to that organization
Envision the future: Knowledge of evolving the business to remain competitive; ability to understand, adapt oneself to, respond to and proactively seek changes and innovation in the business environment to improve the competitive advantage of an organization
Execute the plan in a disciplined way: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
