Role: Product Manager Filtration & Separation

Academic: BE/ B Tech - Mechanical/ Electrical/ Chemical / Precision Engineering

Role Objective: Filtration and Separation Specialist

Successful design, Validation and Implementation of products, by supporting Sales for Product Design, Product Positioning and Demonstration,

1. Responsible for the Defining the

   specification of Filtration & Separation Components

   for the groups

   Vacuum Pump development- manufacturing Portfolio.

2. Close Cooperation with the

   After-Sales unit and the Production companies

   with the aim of

   significantly increasing companies market share in the Accessory-Component Business.

3. Consult the group

   Sales companies in any Filtration & Separation topics, introduce the Filtration Solution into the Sales Portfolio.

4. You will be the

   Contact person

   for

   product development for all questions related to filtration & separation components.

5. Coordination of

   the Central Procurement of filtration & separation components together with Procurement, Production Plants and the group Sales companies.

• Standardization of key parameters

• Central requirements planning together with the Group sales Companies.

• Contact person for

  purchasing to define/specify of the filtration and separation components as well as the packaging and marking

• Suggesting the

  transfer prices to the sales companies (by bundling the requirements, a cost advantage must also be realized for the sales companies)

• Develop a concept for uniform external pricing and coordinate this with the sales companies

6. Definition of

   standard Group’s packaging and labeling for spare parts together with Marketing.

7. Documentation of

   filters & separators, creation of sales presentations with the aim of clearly emphasizing the quality standards of Group’s spare parts, together with marketing

8. Competitive analysis regarding filtration & separation

Core Experiences and Domain Expertise:

• Completed

  Technical Studies-BE/ B Tech in Mechanical/ Chemical or Precision Engineering

• Ideally with

  several years of professional experience or commercial

  Studies (business engineering)

  with experience in mechanical and plant engineering and experience in dealing with customers
• Core Exp in

  Technology Development, Engineering, or similar functions. Experience in filtration design is preferred.

• Shall have 3-5years of experience in filtration or separation applications- Must have
• Experience in the field of product management for capital goods
• Strong

  communication skills with a sales orientation, good manners and a structured way of working

• MS Office experience and knowledge of ERP
• Written and spoken English
• Independence,

  sense of responsibility, reliability, willingness to work, initiative, ability to work in a team, ability to communicate

• Willingness to

  travel and to take on activities that correspond to previous education and abilityRole & responsibilities
