Product Manager

As a Product Manager at Barclays, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation and excellence in our digital landscape. Your role will involve supporting tech and controls activities, making recommendations, and challenging key decisions across Controls & tech activities. To succeed in this role, you should have experience in various key critical skills such as programming, SQL, coding, handling large amounts of data, and excellent presentation skills. Your responsibilities will include completing live proving independently, developing and executing scripts for validation, analyzing results, collaborating with cross-functional teams, updating documentation, implementing and monitoring controls, and presenting findings to stakeholders effectively. Basic qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field, proficiency in programming languages like Python and SAS, and experience in coding and software development. Additional desirable skillsets involve strong knowledge of SQL, database management, testing, and live proving in financial services, as well as the ability to handle and analyze large datasets. Your main purpose will be to provide resolutions for customer queries and issues, ensuring personalized interactions across multiple communication channels. You will collaborate across digital channels, enhance the bank's digital capabilities, provide exceptional customer service, support internal stakeholders, comply with regulatory requirements, and maintain a high standard consistently.
