Product Development & Sourcing Executive

Role Overview: As a Product Development & Sourcing Executive in the Fashion Apparel Retail industry, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process. This includes overseeing the journey of fashion apparel from initial concept to production, ensuring alignment with product and cost requirements. You will play a key role in identifying and sourcing suitable raw materials and trims, working closely with both domestic and international vendors to ensure timely and quality product delivery. Collaboration with the Merchandising and Design Teams will be essential as you coordinate closely with them to understand seasonal product requirements and design expectations. Your role will require you to ensure product feasibility from both sourcing and manufacturing perspectives, contributing to the overall success of the product development process. Key Responsibilities: - Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept to production, ensuring alignment with product and cost requirements - Identify and source suitable raw materials and trims, working with domestic and international vendors for timely and quality product delivery - Evaluate and onboard new vendors based on capabilities, quality standards, lead time, and pricing - Maintain healthy vendor relationships to ensure reliable sourcing and flexibility in the supply chain - Manage follow-ups related to trims and accessories such as labels, tags, and buttons for timely approvals, delivery, and inventory management - Coordinate closely with the Merchandising and Design Teams to understand seasonal product requirements and design expectations - Ensure product feasibility from sourcing and manufacturing perspectives to contribute to overall success Qualifications Required: - 2 to 4 years of experience in a similar position within the Fashion Apparel Retail Industry - Strong understanding of the apparel production lifecycle and sourcing processes - Knowledge of fabrics, trims, garment construction, and the vendor landscape - Excellent communication and negotiation skills - Basic computer proficiency in tools such as MS Office, Excel, and Email - Ability to manage multiple product categories and timelines simultaneously (Note: Benefits include Provident Fund, and the work schedule is during day shifts at the location in Bangalore.),
