Product Designer - Intern

Role Summary:

Raise is built on this core philosophy - we will bring exceptionally great products, awesome user experience and best in class customer service to our users. We have started with our first step by launching an Investment & Trading platform – Dhan (www.dhan.co) in November 2021.

As our Design Associate, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces and user experiences for our platform. You will work closely with our team to create visually stunning and functional designs that meet the needs of our users. We are looking for someone who is passionate about learning and developing their skills in UI/UX design.

Expected Responsibilities:

• Take ownership of end-to-end design for key features across web and app platforms.
• Design intuitive, high-impact user interfaces by translating product requirements into flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, content, and growth teams to define and implement innovative solutions that drive business and user goals.
• Help maintain and evolve our in-house design system for scale, quality, and consistency across products.
• Stay updated on industry trends and proactively suggest improvements to the design processor product experience.

Expected Skills:

• 0-6 months of experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth product team environment.
• Proficiency with Figma is a must; familiarity with design system libraries, auto-layout, component variants, etc.
• Strong understanding of interaction design, usability principles, and accessibility.
• Experience collaborating with engineers for handoff and understanding feasibility.
• A good visual eye, strong typography, spacing, and layout skills.
• Strong communication skills to present and justify design decisions to cross-functional teams.
• Bonus: Experience working in ed-tech, fintech, or with 0-to-1 product design.
