Product Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Design Engineer to join our team at our valve manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and a passion for design and innovation. As a Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining the design of our products, ensuring they meet our quality standards and customer requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test valve products to meet customer requirements and company standards.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Create and maintain product documentation including technical drawings, bills of materials, and product specifications.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure product design meets project timelines and budgets.
• Provide technical support to the production and quality control teams to ensure that all products meet the required specifications and quality standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to develop prototypes and conduct testing to validate product performance.
• Evaluate product performance, reliability, and cost, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Stay current with industry developments, trends, and new technologies to ensure our products are state-of-the-art.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Fresher’s will be considered for the role with strong engineering fundamentals.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software, such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Fusion 360 etc.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to develop innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
