Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design and develop innovative B2C products that meet functional, ergonomic, and aesthetic requirements.
Use SolidWorks and AutoCAD to create 3D models, 2D drawings, and design mockups.
Collaborate with industrial designers to align product form, usability, and brand identity.
Develop concept sketches, renderings, and visual presentations for new product ideas.
Select suitable materials, finishes, and colors based on cost, brand guidelines, and sustainability.
Work with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, and production) to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety norms, and regulatory requirements.
Optimize designs for cost, quality, and large-scale manufacturing.
Implement continuous improvement on existing products based on customer feedback and competitor benchmarking.

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in home appliances, kitchenware, or consumer electronics. • Exposure to 3D printing and rapid prototyping.

• Familiarity with rendering tools (KeyShot, Adobe Suite) for visual presentations.

• Knowledge of quality tools (FMEA, DFMEA, PPAP, APQP).

• Awareness of eco-friendly and sustainable product design practices.
