The Quality Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality assurance and control systems to ensure products and processes meet customer, regulatory, and internal quality standards. The role focuses on continuous improvement, defect prevention, and maintaining compliance with quality management systems such as ISO 9001. Key Skills Required: Quality System Management (ISO 9001 / QMS) Process Quality & Continuous Improvement Product Quality Assurance & Control Supplier Quality Management Root Cause Analysis & Corrective Action (CAPA) Familiarity with tools such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and SPC Key Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain the companys Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards. Lead and support internal and external quality audits to ensure system effectiveness and compliance. Maintain and update quality documentation including procedures, work instructions, and technical specifications. Apply quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, SPC) to analyze data, identify root causes, and drive corrective and preventive actions. Design and monitor quality control plans for both new and existing HVAC products. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Sourcing teams to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Validate and qualify manufacturing processes and equipment to ensure capability and compliance. Supervise incoming material inspection , in-process inspection , and final product testing to ensure adherence to design specifications. Manage the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process and coordinate Material Review Board (MRB) decisions. Analyze field failures, warranty claims, and customer complaints ; implement effective solutions and maintain customer satisfaction. Conduct FMEA , develop Control Plans , and participate in APQP during new product development. Evaluate, audit, and monitor supplier quality performance , driving improvement initiatives when required. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering or equivalent. Hands-on experience with QMS implementation , auditing , and supplier quality management . Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills. Working knowledge of ISO 9001 , Six Sigma , APQP , FMEA , and SPC tools .
