Product Design Engineer

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Make the concept design to meet the given specification

2. Review the concept design before every communication to customer

3. Detail design of each functional area

4. Technical Review of each functional area and communicate to customer

5. Final Review of each functional area and verify the budget / timeline

6. Prepare Engineering drawing, Design BOM in Arma standard

7. Create part number, BOM and feed target price in SAP

8. Release for manufacturing through system to all functions

9. Material requirement to Purchase for functional model, protos, samples to be purchased

10. Review and release of data for functional model / protos

11. Build the respective functional model, protos at the respective stage of needy projects

12. Support for PMG in Design of Jigs & Fixtures, Assembly infrastructure

13. Verify and make Design modification based on test reports from Quality / Testing

14. Lead the whole project from concept till serial production

15. Creating Item Number BOM and Pricing details for Spare parts

16. Maintain & update 2D & 3D data for all models in Series production

17. Support Purchase in Validating new parts from new sources for existing machines

18. Providing necessary changes in Drawings and Model for Product improvement after validation.
