Perform variance analysis (material, labor, overhead), investigate key variances and provide recommendations. Develop and implement cost standards for materials, labor, and overhead in coordination with procurement and production teams. Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial planning. Monitor and control inventory costs; participate in stock valuation and inventory audits. Collaborate with production, engineering, and finance teams to optimize cost efficiencies. Prepare costing reports, margin analysis, and product profitability analysis for management review. Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and cost audit standards. Lead cost reduction initiatives and continuous process improvement projects. Qualifications & Experience: Mandatory Qualification: ICWA / CMA (Certified Management Accountant) Bachelors degree in Commerce, Accounting, or Finance; MBA (Finance) is a plus. Minimum 5–10 years of relevant experience in cost accounting, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup. Solid knowledge of standard costing, cost control, and cost reduction techniques. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Proficient in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel.
