Senior Manager SAP Material Ledger

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced candidate who is well versed with Material Ledger module.

Job Roles & Responsibilities Level

• SAP S/4HANA Implementation & Support:

Lead and manage the implementation of SAP S/4HANA solutions, focusing on Material Ledger.
Provide techno-functional expertise throughout the project lifecycle, from blueprinting to configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and map business processes into SAP solutions.

• Material Ledger Expertise:

Design, configure, and optimize Material Ledger functionality in SAP S/4HANA to support complex inventory management, costing, and financial reporting needs.
Implement Actual Costing processes and integrate them with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), FI (Finance), and CO (Controlling).Perform data migration and integration activities related to Material Ledger in a seamless manner across systems.

• System Optimization and Support:

Provide continuous improvement of the SAP system to meet changing business needs and ensure that it is operating optimally.
Perform regular system checks, diagnostics, and resolution of issues related to Material Ledger.Troubleshoot and resolve any integration issues between SAP modules (e.g., SAP MM, FI, CO) and third-party systems.

• Technical Leadership:

Mentor and provide technical and functional guidance to ensure the success of implementation projects.
Collaborate with development teams on custom enhancements, reports, and interface design.Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP S/4HANA functionalities, particularly in Material Ledger, and advise the organization on new capabilities.

• Documentation and Reporting:

Develop and maintain detailed documentation for all implementation, configuration, and testing processes related to Material Ledger.
Ensure that solutions meet functional specifications and adhere to company standards.Provide periodic status reports to senior management on project progress, challenges, and opportunities.

Essential & Desirable Education/Qualifications/ Work experience/technical skills i.e. what are the 'must haves' for this role

1. Functional Knowledge of Skills (Must Have)

• Proficiency SAP Finance and Controlling Modules
  • Understanding of other Modules mainly MM, SD, PP• Well versed with ABAP and SAP technical possibilities• Material ledger in context of manufacturing industry

2. Leadership Behavior

• Strong ability to understand business processes and translate them into functional S4 HANA solutions.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, work closely with business stakeholders, and provide both technical and functional guidance to implement best practices and improve system functionality, performance, and reporting capabilities.• Previous experience working with global or multinational teams.• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

3. Educational Qualification

• Chartered Accountant or Finance background (Commerce and Business Administration – Finance stream)
  • Relevant SAP certifications (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate – S/4HANA, SAP Certified Application Associate – Finance) preferred
