Role Overview: As a Product Compliance Manager for Hardlines at Opptra, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all products meet regional and international regulatory standards across India, the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and Southeast Asia (SEA). Your responsibilities will include managing the full lifecycle of product compliance, from design validation to certification and market access. You will act as a bridge between the business, supply chain, and certification bodies, leading cross-functional coordination with external agencies and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure all products comply with regulatory standards such as BIS, ROHS, SABER, G-Mark, and other country-specific requirements. - Lead cross-functional coordination with external agencies like TV, SGS, and Bureau Veritas, as well as internal stakeholders including product management, SCM, business, and quality assurance teams. - Obtain certifications under frameworks such as BIS, ROHS, WPC, SABER, G-Mark, and ECAS. - Manage compliance documentation, audits, and renewals. - Work with multiple internal and external stakeholder teams to ensure timely delivery of certifications. - Utilize your strong technical knowledge of regulatory frameworks and proven program management capability to deliver certifications at scale. Qualifications Required: - 12-15 years of hands-on experience in managing product regulatory compliance across India, SEA, and GCC. - Proven track record in obtaining certifications under various frameworks. - Strong program management experience with multiple stakeholder teams. - Exposure to consumer electronics, electrical appliances, IoT, and industrial products. - Experience working with certification agencies such as TV, SGS, Bureau Veritas, Intertek, etc. - Prior engagement with cross-functional teams including engineering, supply chain, product, and legal. - Deep understanding of regional product compliance frameworks, ISO and IEC testing standards, chemical substance compliance, and electrical safety standards. - Familiarity with PLM systems for documentation and vendor coordination for multiple certifications simultaneously.
