As a Product Quality Inspector, your primary responsibility will be to oversee and conduct quality inspection procedures throughout various stages of production, packaging, and transportation to ensure that products align with company standards, industry specifications, and customer expectations. Your role is crucial in maintaining product qualification rates, enhancing customer satisfaction, and upholding the brand reputation by meticulously inspecting, documenting, and addressing any abnormalities detected. Your key responsibilities will include: 1. Conducting quality inspections: - Examining raw materials, semi-finished products, and finished goods for appearance, size, performance, and functionality in adherence to inspection criteria. - Utilizing measuring tools like calipers, micrometers, and electronic instruments for physical testing. - Verifying product compliance with design drawings, technical standards, and customer requirements. - Performing batch sampling as per the sampling plan and making judgments on product qualification. 2. Recording and reporting data: - Accurately documenting inspection results, including defects, quantity, batch details, etc. - Generating quality inspection reports and promptly notifying supervisors and relevant departments about any issues. - Compiling data on defective products, participating in quality analysis, and contributing to improvement initiatives. 3. Managing defective products: - Identifying and segregating defective items encountered during inspection, and assisting in rework, returns, or scrapping processes. - Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective and preventive measures for non-conforming products. - Supporting superiors in organizing quality abnormality analysis meetings to facilitate issue resolutions. 4. Implementing and enhancing quality standards: - Familiarizing yourself with the company's product standards, customer specifications, and quality systems such as ISO9001. - Assisting in the development and refinement of inspection specifications, processes, and work instructions. - Engaging in continuous improvement activities to elevate product quality and inspection efficiency. 5. Collaborating with other departments: - Collaborating closely with production, engineering, procurement, warehousing, and other teams to drive quality enhancements. - Providing feedback on quality concerns to R&D, quality control, or customers to support technical enhancements. - Re-inspecting reworked products to ensure complete resolution of identified issues. To qualify for this role, you should ideally possess: - Educational background: Technical secondary school or higher with a preference for majors in mechanical, electrical, electronic, chemical, light industry, or food-related fields. - Experience: Over 1 year of relevant experience in quality inspection or manufacturing, with familiarity in electronics, electrical appliances, textiles, hardware, plastics, or food industries being advantageous. - Professional skills: Proficiency in using testing instruments, tools, and measuring devices; ability to interpret drawings, specifications, or technical standards; familiarity with quality management tools like ISO quality system, 5S, QC seven methods, etc. - Personal attributes: Detail-oriented, responsible, with strong execution and teamwork skills; capable of basic data analysis, problem identification, and adaptation to repetitive tasks and moderate overtime requirements. Your work environment may predominantly involve factory settings, workshops, quality inspection rooms, or laboratories. You should be prepared to stand for extended periods, focus on minute details, and work in potentially noisy, dusty, or high-temperature conditions.
