Procurement Specialist

You will be responsible for sourcing raw materials and ingredients required for Paints, Admixtures, Construction Chemicals, and Waterproofing Compounds. This includes identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new suppliers to maintain a diverse and cost-effective supply chain. You will also need to manage relationships with existing suppliers to ensure timely procurement of quality ingredients. Negotiating pricing, lead times, and contract terms with suppliers will be crucial to achieving cost efficiency. In terms of Inventory Management, you will monitor and track inventory levels of ingredients to prevent any interruptions in production. Collaboration with the production team to forecast ingredient requirements and prevent stockouts will be essential. Additionally, you will maintain optimal inventory turnover ratios by ensuring timely restocking and managing shelf life effectively. Assurance and Compliance are key aspects of this role, where you will ensure that all procured raw materials adhere to quality standards, safety regulations, and industry guidelines such as GMP, FDA, and ISO. Conducting supplier audits and monitoring quality control processes will be necessary to guarantee product safety and integrity. Keeping abreast of changes in regulations related to raw materials is also part of the role. Cost Control and Budget Management are vital components of the job. You will need to develop and manage procurement budgets to ensure cost-effective sourcing without compromising on quality. Monitoring market trends to identify opportunities for cost-saving measures will be part of your responsibilities. Analyzing historical data to predict future raw material needs and optimize purchase decisions will also be crucial for efficient budget management.,
