Procurement Operation Manager


ABOUT THE ROLE


Procurement Operations Manager to oversee and manage our procurement operations team. The Procurement Operations Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing the procurement process, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of procurement processes and procedures, be able to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders, and have a track record of delivering results.



  • Respond quickly to procurement needs of the company and to find suppliers, factories, vendors and raw materials of the highest quality-to-cost ratio
  • Communicate effectively with superiors and peers (e.g. send periodic situation reports regarding the true and accurate picture of the subject at hand)
  • Provide holistic and honest information regarding the price, quality, quantity, and other information about the materials and suppliers
  • Negotiate effectively with every supplier to control cost and quality in the best interest of the company, while keeping confidential our own key cost, quality, and supplier information, sharing only with the supplier on a need-to-know basis
  • Discover and cultivate new supplier relationships during lulls in order to find better quality materials or suppliers
  • Maintain good relationships with existing suppliers in the region without disrupting any regular supplies for the business needs.
  • Monitor the shipment process of purchased goods from start to finish with seamless feed for projects on hand and planned.
  • Maintaining the most updated supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation
  • Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications
  • Complete all other assignments given by superiors on time.
  • High on integrity and personal conduct with the supplier community and peers.
  • Complete knowledge of compliance requirements.
  • Good knowledge of category management from Home Improvement and interior business.


The Ideal Candidate


  • Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes and procedures, including regulations and policies
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing team
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement procurement strategies that support business objectives
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience working with procurement technology and data analytics tools
