Procurement Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals and beverage industry standards.
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, contracting, and vendor relationship management.
• Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for raw materials (sugar, flavors, concentrates, additives), packaging (bottles, cans, labels, caps), and other operational needs.
• Conduct market research to monitor trends, pricing, and supplier performance in the beverages and FMCG sector.
• Optimize procurement costs while ensuring quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, logistics, and quality teams to align procurement with demand planning and product innovation.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to sustainability and ethical sourcing practices.
• Monitor inventory levels and support just-in-time procurement to reduce waste and working capital.
• Manage procurement budgets and prepare MIS reports for management review.

Preferred candidate profile

beverages, FMCG, or food & beverages manufacturing

Strong negotiation, contract management, and vendor development skills.

Knowledge of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging used in the beverages industry.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and MS Office tools.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.
