Role & responsibilities

Store Manager

. Warehouse & Inventory Management:

• Supervise the

  storage of finished beverages

  (bottles, cans, tetra packs) as per FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and FEFO (First-Expiry-First-Out) principles.
• Ensure proper

  stacking, labeling, and segregation

  of products to prevent damage/spoilage.
• Monitor

  temperature-controlled storage

  (if applicable for chilled beverages).
• Conduct

  daily/weekly stock audits

  and reconcile discrepancies.

2. Dispatch & Logistics Coordination:

• Plan and execute

  order fulfillment

  as per sales/distribution schedules.
• Coordinate with

  transporters, distributors, and 3PL providers

  for timely dispatches.
• Verify

  loading/unloading processes

  to minimize breakage and ensure correct shipments.
• Maintain

  dispatch records, GRNs (Goods Receipt Notes), and e-way bills

  .

3. Compliance & Quality Control:

• Ensure warehouse compliance with

  FSSAI, ISO 22000, and GMP standards

  .
• Monitor

  batch codes, expiry dates, and recall procedures

  (if defective stock is identified).
• Follow

  safety protocols

  for handling fragile beverage packaging (glass bottles, PET, etc.).

4. Team Management:

• Supervise

  storekeepers, forklift operators, and loading staff

  .
• Train teams on

  safe handling, inventory best practices, and documentation

  .
• Optimize manpower for

  peak production/seasonal demand periods

  .

5. Cost & Waste Control:

• Minimize

  warehouse shrinkage, pilferage, and product damage

  .
• Report

  excess stock, slow-moving items, and near-expiry products

  to sales/marketing.
• Implement

  lean warehouse practices

  to improve efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

ERP & System Management:

• Use

  SAP/WMS (Warehouse Management System)

  for real-time stock tracking.
• Generate

  MIS reports on inventory turnover, stock aging, and wastage

  .
• Maintain digital records of

  inward/outward movements

  .
