About the Role

The Procurement Manager will oversee procurement activities, ensuring effective vendor management and project execution.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement for Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) and Bag Filter systems.
• Lead a procurement team and develop vendor relationships.
• Ensure cost-effective and timely project execution.
• Expand the vendor base and negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate projects and control costs effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: 20 25 years in procurement/subcontracting within heavy fabrication, environmental, or power equipment industries.
• Technical Background: Mechanical or Production Engineering graduates.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in vendor development, negotiation, cost control, and project coordination.
• Good understanding of vendor landscape for Structural and plate work across manufacturing locations in India.
• Proven experience with ESP / Bag Filter systems for utility segments.
• Demonstrated capability in leading teams and managing multiple vendor relationships.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in managing procurement for large-scale projects.
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
