Procurement Lead – Mid Level - 5–7 years exp.

To support our rapid growth and expanding operations, we are looking for a

dynamic and skilled Procurement Lead who can drive cost-effective sourcing,

vendor management, and timely availability of quality materials. This role is

critical in ensuring uninterrupted production, optimizing

Qualification ✓ Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management / Mechanical /

Production / Business Administration (or related field).

✓ 5–7 years of procurement experience, with at least 2–3 years in a

supervisory/team lead role.

✓ Experience in consumer durables / kitchen appliances / manufacturing

preferred.

✓ Strong negotiation, vendor management, and analytical skills.

✓ Knowledge of procurement processes, inventory management, and

ERP systems.

✓ Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities Procurement & Sourcing

• Execute procurement activities in line with company policies and

production needs.

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials,

bought-out parts, and consumables.

• Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.

Vendor Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.

• Evaluate supplier performance based on cost, quality, delivery, and

service.

• Identify and develop new suppliers to ensure competitiveness and

reliability.

Cost & Inventory Control

• Negotiate effectively to achieve cost savings without compromising

quality.

• Monitor and control procurement budgets.

• Collaborate with stores and production to optimize inventory levels.

Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies and

statutory requirements.

• Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, contracts, and

agreements.

• Support audits with necessary procurement documentation.

Cross-functional Coordination

• Work closely with Production, Quality, and Stores to align material

requirements.

• Support New Product Development (NPD) projects by sourcing new

components and materials.

• Coordinate with Finance for timely vendor payments and reconciliation.
