Job Description

Roles and responsibilities: Responsible for overall maintenance of stores, stocks and spares. Make sure the stocks are in adequate quantity and in par with quality for production and service of products. Work closely with procurement and production team in store maintenance, stock evaluation in maintaining stock quantity and avoid shortage of stock. Must be able to prepare PO (purchase order), negotiate with the supplier and monitor the PO until the purchases are done. Must ensure that the purchased stocks and spares meets the required quality set at the same time limiting the cost of purchase. Should have strong vendor management and mail drafting skills Should be able to prepare report on stocks and spares available and ensure that there is no shortage of stock at any circumstances. Effectively and actively coordinate in stock audit of the company. Must be willing to travel 100% in case of purchase needs. Analyse industry and demand trends and support senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies. Must be well versed in procurement strategies and assist in all aspects of procurement. Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues and concerns. Experience: 1 to 3 years in the field of store maintenance, stock maintenance, Inventory management, supplier or vendor management, stores management.
