Procurement Executive

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Procurement Executive with experience in the construction or civil industry to handle the complete purchase process — from vendor identification, quotation collection, price negotiation, to final material delivery and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

Source, evaluate, and finalize suppliers/vendors for civil and construction materials.

Obtain and compare quotations from multiple vendors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.

Conduct bargaining/negotiations for the best pricing and payment terms.

Prepare purchase orders, track deliveries, and ensure timely availability of materials at site.

Coordinate with the site engineers and project team for daily material requirements.

Maintain and update vendor database and purchase records.

Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and project budgets.

Handle logistics coordination, including transportation and delivery follow-ups.

Verify material specifications, quantity, and quality before approval.

Manage inventory control and minimize wastage.

Support in vendor performance evaluation and maintain good business relations.

Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering / Supply Chain / Business Administration.

Minimum 2 years of experience in procurement within civil/construction industry.

Strong negotiation and communication skills.

Good knowledge of construction materials, vendor network, and local market rates.

Proficiency in MS Office / Excel / Tally / ERP systems (preferred).

Detail-oriented, cost-conscious, and able to work under deadlines.
