Job Title:

Procurement Engineer Mechanical (BOP Systems)

Job Summary

Looking for a Mechanical Procurement Engineer with experience in sourcing and purchasing Balance of Plant (BOP) mechanical systems such as pumps, compressors, water systems, material handling systems, and DG sets for large-scale Thermal Power / EPC projects. Candidate should have strong technical and negotiation skills.

Procurement Engineer Mechanical (BOP Systems)

Key Responsibilities:

Manage end-to-end procurement of
mechanical BOP systems
, including:

Pumps & Pumping Systems (CW, ACW, DM, RO, Fire Water, etc.)
Compressors & Air Systems
Water Treatment and Effluent Systems
Material Handling Systems (Conveyors, Crushers, Stacker–Reclaimers, etc.)
Diesel Generator (DG) Sets & Auxiliaries

Prepare RFQs, evaluate techno-commercial offers, negotiate and finalize orders.
Coordinate with Engineering, Quality & Project teams for approvals and delivery follow-up.
Maintain vendor database and track purchase status for timely project completion.

Candidate Requirements:

Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
Experience:
5 to 12 years
in procurement of BOP mechanical packages
Industry:
Thermal Power / EPC / Industrial Projects
Skills: Procurement, Purchase, Sourcing, Vendor Management, Negotiation, Mechanical Systems
