Procurement Coordinator

Role Overview: You will be responsible for the purchase of products and services in the organization, ensuring that quality products and services are procured at the best reasonable price. Your role will involve reviewing procurement requisitions, performing cost benefit analysis on planned acquisitions, developing and implementing procurement plans, and identifying new potential vendors for strategic sourcing. You will also be tasked with developing long-term partnerships with local and foreign suppliers, reviewing product availability and pricing information, tracking and maintaining inventory levels, coordinating daily procurement activities and logistics, monitoring quality of procured materials, and ensuring compliance with Fugro policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities: - Review procurement requisitions and source goods and services in accordance with organizational requirements - Perform cost benefit analysis on planned acquisitions - Develop and implement procurement plans as per organization requirements - Identify new potential vendors for strategic sourcing and develop long-term partnerships with local and foreign suppliers - Review product availability and pricing information with suppliers - Track and maintain inventory levels in the stores for all required items - Coordinate daily procurement activities and logistics - Monitor and control database, documents, and correspondence related to procurement and logistics - Develop cost reduction, cost avoidance, and cost containment programs - Ensure compliance with Fugro policies and procedures - Undertake any additional responsibilities assigned by the Procurement Manager Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in CIPS, Finance, or Engineering diploma - Minimum 3 years of experience - Strong ability and willingness to learn, adapt, and embrace new situations - Strong communicator who promotes open communication across the organization - Takes ownership and initiative, acts with confidence, and works under own direction - Actively focused on achieving sustainable results and operational excellence - Drives organizational and cultural change to facilitate organizational development Additional Company Details: Fugro provides a positive work environment and projects that will satisfy curious minds.
