Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities for mechanical components, including purchase requisitions, vendor development, and price negotiations.
  
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products at competitive prices.
  
• Conduct market research to identify new vendors and opportunities for cost savings.
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to procurement planning, inventory management, and logistics.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and industry standards throughout the procurement process.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 5-9 years of experience in mechanical procurement or a related field (B.Tech/B.E. Mechanical).
  
• Strong understanding of industrial equipment/machinery procurement processes and procedures.
  
• Excellent negotiation skills for price reductions from vendors.
  
• Ability to analyze data effectively to inform purchasing decisions.
