Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, and deliver training programs for new hires and existing employees in the SCM department
Train teams on end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and order fulfillment
Conduct classroom, virtual, and on-the-job training sessions for frontline and backend supply chain staff
Create training manuals, SOPs, process flowcharts, and e-learning modules
Coordinate with process owners and department heads to update training materials based on system/process changes.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using assessments, feedback, and on-the-floor performance.
Maintain training records, attendance logs, and certification status of trained employees.
Support continuous improvement initiatives by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions.
Conduct refresher training and cross-training to ensure workforce flexibility and process adherence.
Strong understanding of SCM processes, including warehouse management systems and ERP tools (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
Ability to simplify complex processes into easy-to-understand training formats
Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); knowledge of LMS is a plus
Analytical skills to evaluate training outcomes and process effectiveness
Ability to manage training in multi-location or high-volume environments
