Job Description: Sales Trainer
Role Summary:
The Sales Trainer is responsible for improving the selling skills, product knowledge, and
customer experience capabilities of the sales team through structured training programs,
coaching, and performance support.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver sales, soft skills, and product training to new hire and floor agents.
• Conduct training needs assessments and design short, effective learning modules.
• Run role-plays, product demos, and on-floor coaching sessions.
• Track training effectiveness through assessments, audits, and sales KPIs.
• Collaborate with Ops, HR, and other stakeholders to align training with business
priorities.
• Maintain updated product knowledge and create quick learning materials.
Required Skills
• Strong communication & presentation skills
• Solid understanding of sales techniques and customer interaction
• Ability to coach individuals and teams
• Good analytical skills to assess performance gaps
• Comfort with digital tools and LMS platforms
Qualifications
• 2–3+ years in sales training or sales enablement
• Experience in BPO/Call Center voice processes, telesales, customer service, or inside
sales training is highly preferred
• Graduation is mandatory.
