Process Simulation Engineer

Job Description

Job Requirements Conceptualize, build, simulate, and optimize 2D process models using Siemens Technometrics Plant Simulation for manufacturing plants. Utilize simulation models to perform capacity assessments, bottlenecks analysis, logistics optimization, data analysis, resource optimization and identify inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities. Produce detailed documentation of assumptions, methodologies, and results. Seek and evaluate customer feedback and drive changes as appropriate. Capture and share lessons learned within the team Develop & design solutions that provide best process flow to improve the throughput of the facilities. Understand, analyze, and map process flow information and production trend data effectively in simulation models to support process improvement efforts. Develop simulation models for material handling equipment to analyze congestion and optimize equipment utilization & counts. Work Experience Experience / Knowledge Proven experience in Manufacturing Engineering environment /Industrial Engineering Minimum of 3 years developing simulation 2D models using Siemens Technometrics Plant Simulation or similar software. Programming experience, preferably code language (SimTalk) of simulation model. Basic proficiency in AutoCAD Expertise in Throughput Simulation Familiarity with various transportation systems such as AGVs, Fork Trucks, Tuggers, and Conveyors. Show more Show less
