Senior Process Safety & HSE Engineer

✅ Key Responsibilities:

🧪 Process Safety:

• Lead and facilitate

  HAZOP, HAZID, SIL/LOPA

  studies
• Prepare/review:

  Safety Philosophies, Fire Risk Assessments, DSRs, Hazardous Area Classification

• Develop

  QRA, FERA, ESSA

  , and other safety studies (with third parties if needed)
• Review P&IDs, layouts, and equipment specs from a

  safety design

  perspective
• Support

  design reviews

  ,

  management of change (MoC)

  , and

  alarm rationalization

🦺 HSE Management:

• Support

  HSE plans

  ,

  risk assessments

  , and

  method statements

  for projects
• Conduct site

  HSE inspections

  , toolbox talks, and compliance checks during construction or commissioning
• Ensure adherence to

  international HSE standards

  (OSHA, ISO 45001, ISO 14001)
• Lead or support

  incident investigation

  , root cause analysis, and corrective actions
• Drive

  safety culture

  across project teams and subcontractors

🎓 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Process / Environmental / Safety Engineering
• 8+ years in

  process safety and HSE

  , preferably in EPC/design/project environments
• Strong knowledge of

  PSM

  ,

  risk assessment

  , and

  HSE regulations

• Proficient in tools like

  PHAST, PHA-Pro, BowTieXP, DNV software

• Certifications:

  NEBOSH IGC/PSM

  ,

  TÜV Functional Safety

  , or equivalent preferred
