Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in

  Chemical / Process Engineering

  .

• 8–15 years

  of hands-on experience in

  Process Design Engineering

  within the

  Oil & Gas industry

  .
• Strong exposure to

  FEED and Detailed Engineering

  projects (onshore/offshore).
• Proficiency in

  process simulation tools

  such as Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, UniSim, or equivalent.
• Experience in preparation of process calculations, equipment sizing, and utilities design.
• Good understanding of Oil & Gas process systems, safety philosophy, and operational considerations.
• Strong communication skills and experience working in multi-disciplinary project environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and review

  process design deliverables

  including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), heat & material balance (H&MB), process datasheets, and design philosophies.
• Perform

  process simulations and calculations

  for Oil & Gas facilities such as separators, compressors, heaters, dehydration units, and utilities.
• Participate in

  FEED, basic, and detailed engineering

  phases of projects.
• Conduct and support

  HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and design review

  sessions.
• Coordinate with piping, mechanical, instrumentation, electrical, civil, and safety teams to ensure integrated and optimized designs.
• Review vendor documents and ensure compliance with process requirements and project specifications.
• Support preparation of technical bid packages, scopes of work, and cost optimization studies.
• Handle process-related technical queries, design changes, and interface issues.
• Ensure adherence to applicable

  international codes and standards

  (API, ASME, ISO, IEC, etc.).
• Mentor junior process engineers and review their deliverables.
