Process Design Engineer

As an experienced Process Design Engineer, your role will involve designing, optimizing, and supporting Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Effluent Treatment Plants (ETP), and Water Treatment Plants (WTP). This will include performing process calculations, developing P&IDs, selecting appropriate technologies, and coordinating with project and execution teams. Key Responsibilities: - Designing and developing process schemes for STP, ETP, and WTP projects - Performing process calculations for flow, load, and treatment efficiency - Preparing Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and mass balance - Selecting appropriate treatment technologies based on influent characteristics and discharge norms - Preparing technical specifications and data sheets for equipment - Reviewing tender documents, BOQs, and technical proposals - Coordinating with civil, mechanical, electrical, and automation teams - Supporting commissioning, troubleshooting, and performance optimization - Ensuring compliance with CPCB/SPCB norms and environmental regulations - Providing technical support during client discussions and site visits Required Skills & Knowledge: - Strong knowledge of STP, ETP, and WTP treatment processes - Experience in MBR, MBBR, SBR, ASP, RO, UF, MEE, ZLD systems - Proficiency in preparing PFDs, P&IDs, and design calculations - Familiarity with water quality standards and discharge norms - Ability to analyze influent/effluent data and optimize process design - Good communication and documentation skills Educational Qualification: - B.E. / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Environmental Engineering - M.E. / M.Tech (Preferred) Experience: - Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in water & wastewater treatment design - Experience with EPC projects will be an added advantage Please note that this is a full-time position and the work location is in person.
