Principle Engineer Design

• Architect and develops ICs that meet product requirements.
• Acts as a technical chip lead, manage chip and block schedule asneeded to ensure on time tape out.
• Communicates with cross functional/inter disciplinary team as neededto make sure the team is aware of the assumptions and progress made by he design team.
• Set the technical standard for architecture, design, layout and verification of circuits, systems, algorithms, etc. to meet product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership to junior engineers, including mentoring, guidance, and technical oversight
• Balance innovation with execution: to ensure that the projects are delivered in a timely manner.
• Demonstrate good judgment in solving a broad range of issues, based on an advanced understanding of industry practices and company policies and procedures.
Responsible for the quality of custom layout, including overseeing the work of layout designers.

• A Master’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering,microelectronic, or comparable with focus on electronic
• 10+ years of experience in analog IC design with proven track recordof delivering high performance DC-DC converter Power IC solutions.
• Strong understanding of high voltage BCD processes.
• Familiarity with high-efficiency power conversion, such as DC DCconverters, is highly desirable
• Expertise in DC-DC converters ICs for buck or boost or buck-boost andone of the topologies like Peak current mode, COT.
• Comfortable making complex technical judgements at the chip level that involve trade-offs in risk, area, power, schedule and performance.
• Experience in chip level simulation strategies that make a rational balance between schedule and risk.
• Experience with end-to-end design flow from product definition tohigh volume manufacturing including support of production test, applications validation and manufacturing problem solving.
Experience mentoring junior engineers.
