Job Purpose:

To provide strong leadership in the planning, organization, and supervision of all academic and administrative activities in accordance with CBSE norms, ensuring excellence in education and holistic development of students.


Key Responsibilities:

1. Academic Leadership

  • Ensure effective implementation of the CBSE curriculum and National Education Policy (NEP) guidelines.
  • Promote innovative teaching methodologies, blended learning, and continuous professional development of staff.
  • Monitor academic performance and learning outcomes through data-driven reviews and assessments.
  • Organize teacher training workshops in line with CBSE and NCERT recommendations.

2. Administration and Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day operations including staff scheduling, discipline, maintenance, and logistics.
  • Ensure statutory compliance with CBSE affiliation norms, safety guidelines, and local/state education regulations.
  • Manage admissions process, CBSE registrations, board exam preparations, and school records.

3. Staff Management

  • Recruit, train, evaluate, and mentor teaching and non-teaching staff.
  • Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and address grievances.

4. Student Development

  • Promote discipline, inclusiveness, and a student-friendly environment.
  • Ensure implementation of value-based education, co-curricular and life skills programs.
  • Lead initiatives on student counseling, safety, wellness, and career guidance.

5. Parent and Community Engagement

  • Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, PTMs, and feedback mechanisms.
  • Represent the school in community and educational forums.

6. Financial and Resource Management

  • Assist in budget planning and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Monitor infrastructure development and digital transformation projects.
  • Ensure transparency in procurement, fee collection, and financial reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Education:

    Postgraduate degree in any discipline with B.Ed./M.Ed. (as per CBSE Bye-laws)
  • Experience:

    Minimum 5–10 years of teaching experience with at least 3 years in a leadership role (Vice Principal/Head of Department/Coordinator/Principal)
  • Age:

    As per CBSE norms or school policy
