Job Title: Principal for Diploma Engineering (Polytechnic College)

Location: Bihiya, Bhojpur, Bihar.

Job Summary:

The Principal will provide strategic, academic, and administrative leadership to the polytechnic college, ensuring the highest standards of education, discipline, and institutional development. The role involves overseeing curriculum implementation, faculty management, student welfare, compliance with regulatory bodies, and maintaining the institution’s reputation and academic excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership in planning, organizing, and managing academic and administrative functions.
• Ensure effective implementation of the curriculum as per AICTE and SBTE, Bihar, Patna norms.
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff; promote a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Monitor academic performance, student outcomes, and take corrective measures when necessary.
• Supervise admissions, examinations, and certification processes in compliance with governing regulations.
• Develop and implement policies to maintain discipline, punctuality, and a safe learning environment.
• Coordinate with government bodies (AICTE, New Delhi and SBTE, State Board of Technical Education, Bihar Patna) and ensure timely submission of reports and compliances.
• Promote industry collaboration for internships, training, and placement of students.
• Prepare and manage budgets, seek grants, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Represent the college at academic, social, and official events.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology with a Ph.D. preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industry experience, including at least 3 years in a leadership or administrative role.
• Familiarity with AICTE, NBA accreditation processes, and state technical education regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
