Job Purpose

To lead and manage all aspects of the school, ensuring high standards of academic excellence, student well-being, staff performance, and community engagement. The Principal is responsible for maintaining the school’s ethos, delivering its mission, and upholding international education standards.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

Develop and implement the school’s strategic plan in line with its mission and vision.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and global citizenship.Represent the school to stakeholders, including parents, the board, education authorities, and international accreditation bodies.

Academic Oversight

Ensure the effective delivery of the chosen curriculum (e.g., IB, British, American).Monitor teaching and learning standards through regular observations, reviews, and data analysis.Support curriculum development, student assessment, and professional learning communities.

Staff Management & Development

Recruit, mentor, and evaluate teaching and non-teaching staff.Foster a professional culture of collaboration, performance, and accountability.Implement regular professional development aligned with school goals.

Student Well-being & Development

Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for all students.Support programs for student leadership, counseling, behavior management, and holistic development.Address student concerns with fairness and compassion.

Parent & Community Engagement

Build strong relationships with parents through regular communication, meetings, and events.Promote community involvement and global partnerships to enrich student experiences.Represent the school positively in local and international forums.

Operational & Financial Oversight

Oversee daily operations in coordination with the administrative and support teams.Monitor the school budget, resource allocation, and infrastructure development.Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and accreditation standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Master’s degree in Education or Educational Leadership (Doctorate preferred)Minimum 7–10 years of experience in education, with at least 3–5 years in a senior leadership roleStrong background in international curricula (e.g., IB, IGCSE, A-Levels, AP)Proven track record of school improvement and leadershipExperience in multicultural, international school settings
