Pricing Specialist - Sea Freight

You will be responsible for the following tasks in this role: - Prepare and submit competitive quotes for import/export Sea Freight. - Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents to obtain the best rates and space availability. - Analyze market trends, customer requirements, and competitor pricing strategies. - Support the sales and business development teams with rate sheets and pricing solutions. - Maintain updated tariffs, contracts, and rate agreements in the pricing system. - Ensure accuracy in rate calculations, surcharges, and currency conversions. - Maintain strong vendor and carrier relationships to secure preferential pricing. The qualifications required for this position are: - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or any relevant field. - 3 years of experience in pricing, preferably in a freight forwarding environment. - Good knowledge of INCOTERMS, sea and air freight terms, and shipping documentation. - Strong communication and negotiation skills. - Proficient in MS Office and pricing software tools. Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including cell phone reimbursement, internet reimbursement, and paid sick time. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with performance bonuses and a yearly bonus.
