Pricing & Contracting Specialist

As an experienced Pricing Manager in the IT sector, you will play a crucial role in developing and managing pricing models and financial assessments for IT products and services. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and managing pricing models and financial assessments for IT products and service offerings. - Managing the financial review and compliance of customer contracts, including pricing terms and conditions. - Analysing market trends, cost structures, and competitor pricing to inform strategic pricing decisions. - Conducting financial modelling and profitability analysis for proposals, renewals, and new business. - Collaborating with Sales, Legal, Operations, and Product teams to structure pricing and contract terms that align with business goals. - Collaborating with legal and procurement teams to review commercial terms and conditions. - Maintaining and continuously improving pricing tools, models, and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy. - Providing strategic pricing recommendations to improve margins and competitiveness. - Ensuring pricing and contract practices comply with internal policies and relevant regulations. - Supporting the RFP and bid process by providing accurate pricing and financial data. - Assisting in setting pricing strategies for new products and service launches. In order to excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Masters degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (MBA or CA). - 8+ years of experience in pricing, contract analysis, product pricing, in the IT Software or tech sector. - Experience of pricing models, revenue forecasting, and cost analysis. - Solid understanding of pricing strategies, revenue models, and cost structures in IT Software or SaaS. - Demonstrated experience in people management, including mentoring or leading small teams. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with financial systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Oracle) is a plus. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
