About the Position: Presales Writer

As a Presales Writer, you will be working with the Presales team to create documentation that perfectly articulates ClearTrail’s value proposition, solution narrative and product features and benefits. This role involves researching products information, collaborating with product managers, product support, and business development teams to handle end to end bid management processes, create proposals, RFP responses, solution briefs, presentations, reports & more that communicate complex technologies to our customers with ease.

Your job will involve miniscule understanding to detail and delivering the responses to the customers as per deadlines. You will also be responsible for reviewing and publishing documents that meet company standards and deem appropriate for federal and state security agencies.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Work with subject matter experts to obtain an in-depth understanding of the products and the documentation requirements services to translate complex product information into simple, polished, and engaging content.
• Manage end-to-end Bid Management process including RFP assessment, understanding customer needs, RFP guidelines, technical specifications, and evaluation criteria, preparing and uploading final documents on the customer portal and more.
• Re-write / edit proposal and prepare responses for Request for Proposal (RFP) in collaboration with various stakeholders, typically involving sales, marketing, engineering & support team.
• Create easy-to-understand presentations and technical documents to increase the prospective customer’s understanding of the offerings.
• Collect user feedback to update and improve content. Proofread and publish the content and ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
• Develop and maintain detailed databases/repository of documents, presentations, appropriate reference materials.
• Create content for whitepapers, case studies and similar sales enablement documents

Skills:

• Proven work experience in software products company as a Technical Writer / Presales Consultant
• Strong Stakeholder Management Skills to deal/communicate with multiple stakeholders & cater to their requirements
• Excellent writing and editing skills in English
• Knowledge of tools and technologies such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) Snagit, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, etc.

Qualifications:

• 4-8 years of experience as a documentation / presales support expert
• Graduate in Technology related field, Postgraduate (MBA / MTech / MCA / IT) will be a plus
