Presales Business Analyst

Position Title:

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Pre-Sales Business Analyst with expertise in ERP (preferably Odoo) to support our sales and solutioning process. The candidate will be responsible for bridging client requirements with solution design, assisting the sales team in responding to RFIs/RFQs, preparing proposals, conducting product demonstrations, creating Proof of Concepts (POCs), and drafting Statements of Work (SOW).

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective clients to gather and analyze business requirements across ERP functions (Finance, HR, CRM, SCM, Manufacturing, etc.).
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to design appropriate ERP (Odoo/other ERP) solutions aligned with client needs.
• Prepare and deliver client-facing presentations, demonstrations, and workshops.
• Draft technical and functional responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs.
• Build and present Proof of Concept (POC) solutions to validate proposed approaches.
• Create detailed proposals, business cases, and Statements of Work (SOW) with scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Ensure proper handover of requirements and commitments to delivery teams post-sales.
• Stay updated with Odoo/ERP product capabilities, new features, and industry trends.
• Support account management teams with pre-sales consultancy for new and existing clients.
  

Job Specification (JS) Pre-Sales Business Analyst (Odoo/ERP)

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (MBA preferred).
• Odoo functional certification (preferred but not mandatory).
  

Experience

• Minimum

  4 years of experience as a Business Analyst

  in ERP domain.
• Proven experience in

  pre-sales activities

  : proposal writing, RFI/RFQ analysis, demos, workshops, POCs, and SOW preparation.
• Hands-on experience in Odoo ERP is strongly preferred (other ERP experience like SAP, Oracle, Infor, Dynamics, Sage, etc. can be considered).

• Strong understanding of ERP processes: Finance, CRM, SCM, HR, Manufacturing, etc.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Strong documentation and proposal writing skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams (sales, technical, delivery).
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset.
