Pre-Sales Executive (Electronics & Counter-UAV Industry)

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have solid technical fundamentals, strong communication skills, and an interest in defense, security, and surveillance technologies.

Educational Qualification

• B.E./B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related fields
  OR
• B.Sc / M.Sc in Electronics, Physics, Mechatronics, Robotics, Aeronautics, or related domains.
• Training/knowledge in Counter-UAV systems, RF technologies, jamming systems, radar, or surveillance equipment will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interact with customers (Defence, Government, Law Enforcement, Airports, Industrial Security Teams) to understand their counter-drone needs and operational environments.
• Identify use cases such as perimeter protection, airspace monitoring, drone detection & tracking, RF jamming, sensor integration, etc.

2. Solution Designing for Counter-UAV Systems

• Convert client requirements into tailored Counter-UAS solutions.
• Assist in system configuration involving radars, RF sensors, jammers, EO/IR cameras, communication links, and command-and-control platforms.
• Prepare solution architectures, technical specifications, and integration documents.

3. Demonstrations, Trials & Technical Support

• Conduct live Counter-UAV demonstrations, field trials, and technical walkthroughs for clients.
• Explain system features, detection ranges, jamming capabilities, compliance with regulations, and safety standards.
• Support feasibility studies, PoCs, and pilot deployments.

4. Proposal, Documentation & RFP Support

• Prepare technical proposals, capability presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and cost estimates.
• Create compliance matrices, technical scope documents, and integration notes.
• Work closely with engineering teams for technical validations.

5. CRM & MIS Management

• Maintain CRM entries for leads, opportunities, follow-ups, client interactions, and sales stages.
• Prepare MIS reports such as sales pipeline reports, demo trackers, proposal trackers, and conversion analysis.
• Ensure data accuracy and provide regular updates to management.

6. Industry Standards & Compliance Knowledge

Stay updated with:

• Counter-UAV trends & technologies
• RF detection & jamming principles
• Radar & sensor technologies
• Government/Defence procurement processes
• DGCA, WPC, and defence standards related to Counter-UAS systems

7. Sales Enablement & Collaboration

• Support the sales team during client meetings, presentations, technical clarifications, and negotiations.
• Participate in exhibitions, demonstrations, and customer workshops.
• Provide customer feedback to product development teams.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical understanding of counter-drone systems, RF technologies, jamming, radar, sensors, electronics & communication systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Ability to conduct field demos confidently.
• Good documentation and MS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word).
• Familiarity with CRM tools and MIS reporting.

Experience Required

• 0-3 years of Experience in Counter-UAV, electronics solutions, defense tech, surveillance systems, or RF technologies is preferred.
