About the Role

Pre-sales Specialist / Solution Architect

This role requires a mix of *technical expertise, customer engagement, and consulting mindset* to build trusted relationships and demonstrate solution value.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand requirements and challenges.
• Design and present solutions across:

• Networking:

  LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, VPN, Wi-Fi, Cloud Networking, Load Balancers.

• Security

  : Firewalls, EDR/XDR, IAM, CASB, DLP, SIEM, SOAR, Zero Trust.

• Infrastructure

  : Storage, Backup, HCI, Virtualization, Data Protection.
• Conduct *workshops, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)*.
• Support *RFP/RFI responses* with technical inputs, diagrams, and BoMs.
• Collaborate with *sales, product, and delivery teams* for solution alignment.
• Stay updated on *OEM solutions* (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Dell EMC, NetApp, HPE, VMware, Nutanix, Veeam, Juniper, Aruba, Microsoft).
• Ensure smooth *handover of designs* to post-sales teams.
• Continuously learn and upskill in *cloud networking, SASE, Zero Trust, and emerging technologies*.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related field.
• 2–6 years of Pre-sales / Solution Engineering experience* in Networking, Security, or Infrastructure.
• Good technical expertise in Networking (LAN/WAN/SD-WAN/Wi-Fi), Security (NGFW, IAM, EDR/XDR), or Infrastructure (Storage, HCI, Virtualization)
• Knowledge of cloud networking & security (AWS, Azure, GCP, SASE, Zero Trust).
• Experience in *technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, demos, and documentation.
• Strong communication & presentation skills for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Industry Certifications preferred: *CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Nutanix NCP, Palo Alto PCNSE, Fortinet NSE, JNCIP, CWNP, CISSP, CEH* or equivalent.
• Ability to work in a *fast-paced, client-facing environment* with multiple opportunities.
• Problem-solving attitude with a *continuous learning mindset*.
