Pre Sales Business Analyst

As a Pre-Sales Business Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between the sales team and technical/product teams. Your main responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with the sales team to understand client needs, pain points, and business goals. - Translating client requirements into functional and technical solutions with the help of product and technical teams. - Preparing and delivering engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to client needs. - Creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), proposals, and RFP/RFI responses. - Conducting market and competitor research to support solution development and positioning. - Supporting client discovery sessions, workshops, and pre-sales meetings. - Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Marketing) for customized solutions. - Working closely with post-sales teams to ensure smooth transition and client satisfaction. - Analyzing trends from client interactions to provide feedback for product improvements. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in a pre-sales, business analysis, or customer-facing technical role. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills. - Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and technical solutioning. - Proficiency in tools like MS Office, PowerPoint, Visio, and CRM platforms. - Experience with preparing documentation like SOWs, BRDs, and solution briefs. Preferred skills that would be advantageous for the role: - Exposure to SaaS or IT service/consulting environments. - Knowledge of Agile methodologies. - Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and wireframing tools.
