Job Summary: RSM USI is looking for a detail-oriented and client-care focused Background Check & Pre Hire Specialist to join our offices in Bengaluru or Hyderabad! Reporting to the Background Check & Pre-Hire Manager, you will use your investigative and organizational skills to support the Talent Operations Team’s objective to provide and manage centralized, highly repeatable solutions that allow RSM to achieve business goals while balancing the needs of our employees. As an integral part of the TA Operations team, you will be responsible for centralized delivery of activities and processes related to pre-boarding, background check verification and compliance requirements. The Background Check & Pre-Hire Specialist is responsible for supporting our Talent Acquisition team and recruiting processes by providing a stellar onboarding experience. Specifically, your tasks will include: Initiating and adjudicating background checks, escalating to the Team Lead as needed, and coordinating with stakeholders regarding changes in start date or candidate status Administering online candidate assessments Collecting required candidate onboarding documentation Communicating with candidates to support our talent acquisition processes Coordinating with and bringing along our stakeholders Communicating operational pre-hire onboarding information and travel administration Interacting daily with the Team Lead on productivity, quality & capacity Identifying communication and operational issues arising during day-to-day administration activities, making recommendations for process improvements to continuously improve efficiency and talent experience Other administrative tasks and duties as assigned Minimum Requirements 6 months to 2 years of experience in an HR coordinator role Minimum of 6 months experience with background check review/adjudication High attention to detail and quality Ability and willingness to handle a high volume workload, while prioritizing effectively to meet daily, weekly and monthly deadlines Client service-oriented personality, combined with strong interpersonal skills Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion Advanced English written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage concurrent projects and/or programs Willingness to take on tasks and projects on other teams Calm, easygoing disposition Preferred Requirements Experience with Sterling background checks Experience with Mettl or HirePro online assessments Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related degree At RSM, we offer a competitive benefits and compensation package for all our people.
